China, Climate Change and Sustainability

China’s efforts to address climate change, including its national investments in clean energy are, in terms of percentage of GDP, three times that of the United States.

In the context of China’s existing actions on climate change and current commitments in relation to other countries, the panel will explore how, at a global level, China’s efforts will impact climate change. The discussion will address the challenges for China and the current growth centered development model.
