Former Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd spoke at the Annual AIIA NSW Charteris Dinner last year about the challenges and successes of Australian foreign policy and outlined a vision for Australia’s future role in world affairs. In his speech, Kevin Rudd speaks at length about Australia’s engagement with Asia and our future role in the region.

More recently, on Monday 16 April 2012, Kevin Rudd spoke at Asialink in Melbourne to launch the paper “Finding a Place on the Asian Stage” by Carillo Ganter and Allison Carol. His speech outlined the need for a more Asia literate Australia.
